How is Edge different from Self-Hosted?
Sparrow Edge is the hardware version: a dedicated appliance for running Sparrow at your site. Sparrow Self-Hosted runs on your own compatible Windows PC.
Can I use my existing cameras?
Compatible RTSP streams from cameras or recorders can be used. Stream settings, authentication, and network access need to be reviewed for your installation.
How many cameras can it analyze?
Capacity depends on the appliance configuration, stream resolution, event frequency, and analysis settings. Share your intended setup with us for sizing assistance.
Does Sparrow Edge replace my recorder?
Sparrow adds an AI event-analysis workflow. Keep your existing recording system when you need continuous video recording and its associated retention features.
